My Goal
To run my own pace and not give up.

Success Criteria
Do not give up and walk.
Run my own pace.
Don't give up.
Run at a steady pace.
Don't care about who is in front

2.9.16

I met my goal by going my on pace and not stopping to talk to my friends. I did not walk either.

Next year my goal is to take my own pace not give up and don't stop.

Classifying Shapes

10.8.16

I grouped the circle, oval and cylinder together because they are all round and they are not straight. I put the rectangle, square, diamond and the cube together because they are a quadrilateral. That means they have 4 sides and corners. I put the hexagon by itself because if has 6 sides and 6 corners. I put the triangle and a pyramid together because it has 3 sides and 3 corners.

Weekley Reflecion Term 3 Week 2

What: This week we were running for 5 minutes on the feild. We also were acting out the story 'In the Beginning' with He Puna Whāwhā and He Puna Kōtuitui.

So What: I have learnt about some arguments and for fitness we have been doing line dancing.  We have learned the grapevine, overhead clap, slide grapevine lasoo and turn.

Now What: I am going to learn not to sit next to the people who I am going to talk to constantly.

In the Puna

Miss Lediard took a photo of us and put it into our Class Resources on our Site.  We went onto google drawing and put some images of hats, cups, sun, tables, glasses and put some other images in. We did a action of holding a cup or whatever you wanted to choose and then we put the objects into our picture.

Maunga Artwork

Room 7 has been learning about maunga and Miss Lediard told us to make a maunga . Room 7 got a large piece of paper from our teacher. We started to draw with pencil and then we drew some accessories and made a face. Then we got a sharpie and went round the pencil. Th we used pastel and coloured the background. When we had done that we could choose what we wanted to put on our maunga. We got to choose out of dye, pastel, laundry powder, or leave it. I chose laundry powder. This is how my maunga turned out.

Inquiry-Reflecting

What have I Learnt about the Brain?
I learnt that when you learn you create new pathways to send new messages. The neurons don’t get bigger when you get bigger. The colour  of the brain is a pink/beige colour.

What will I do about it?
I never give up. I just keep and keep on trying and don’t stop.

My Thinking

The whole class went  onto pixlr and the teacher took a photo of us and put it onto the class site. We found it and put it onto pixlr and then took the background out of us. Then we went onto google drawing and we put some images of thinking light bulbs and learning things.
