How to play

1. Grab the spoon and the ping pong ball                                                         

2. Put the ping pong ball on the ovel part on the spoon                                    

3. Hold the handle with 1 hand and put the other hand by your side                   

4. Start walking to the end of the field                                                      

5. Go round the cone and come back

6. Then put your hand back down by your side

7. Walk back and give the spoon and ball to the organizers 

8. If your a senior and you drop the ball you are out. (year 4-6)

9. If you are a Junior you get 2 chances. (year 0-3)

10. At the end if you don't drop the ball you get a prize

15. No making fun of people when they lose

Acrostic Poem

2017 W1T1 first day at school

Hi it's Lilly it is my first week of school for 2017. This has been the best week so far. The work we have been doing is the holiday wheels. our holidays wheels are all about our holidays. The next work we did was our Picture portrait we drew a picture of our self then we colored it in. My pizza box is a pizza box but wrote stuff about our self. We did our name and we are drawing like clouds and then color it in then we are putting it in the cloak bay so then it is not so blank.

Salt Crystal Experiment 27.10.16

Yesterday He Puna Pūmanawa made salt crystals.  We had a leader and a resource person to get all the ingredients. You need an adult to boil the kettle/jug and the adult to pour it into the container.  Then pour 1 dessert spoon of salt into the jug and wait until it dissolves . Then get 1 Ice block stick and 1 clear glass jar and a piece of wool. Then tie the wool to the ice block stick then put the stick onto the jar then put the jug of dissolved water into the jar and wait until the crystals grow. I wonder how long it will take?

I met my goal by going my on pace and not stopping to talk to my friends. I did not walk either.




Next year my goal is to take my own pace not give up and don't stop.

Classifying Shapes

I grouped the circle, oval and cylinder together because they are all round and they are not straight. I put the rectangle, square, diamond and the cube together because they are a quadrilateral. That means they have 4 sides and corners. I put the hexagon by itself because if has 6 sides and 6 corners. I put the triangle and a pyramid together because it has 3 sides and 3 corners.

Weekley Reflecion Term 3 Week 2

What: This week we were running for 5 minutes on the feild. We also were acting out the story 'In the Beginning' with He Puna Whāwhā and He Puna Kōtuitui.

So What: I have learnt about some arguments and for fitness we have been doing line dancing.  We have learned the grapevine, overhead clap, slide grapevine lasoo and turn.

Now What: I am going to learn not to sit next to the people who I am going to talk to constantly.
